CHALLENGE:

Downsizing, while still incorporating some large pieces of sentimental artwork

Solution:

Old furniture was reupholstered with new up-to-date fabrics to blend with some new stream-lined pieces that properly fit the space, keeping with an early ’90s, contemporary feel. The artwork was created by the couple’s son, and boasts bright, bold colors that really dominated the décor. By keeping everything else minimal and clean, this allowed his artwork to complement the downsize without it feeling overpowering, while keeping it a dominant feature.

Aesthetic:

Contemporary

I found Jennifer online and looked at the reviews, which were excellent. I was nervous but made an appointment. She came over and spent over an hour. We were moving from our house to an apartment. We told her our budget, then at the next meeting she brought some ideas. As time went on a storyboard came our way. We loved it and she completed our apartment even window treatments, even recovering some loved pieces we already owned. Jennifer is a pleasure to work with. She never talked us into anything we didn’t need or up-sell us. She is dependable and about integrity, and returned every phone call. Anyone can call me for references.
