CHALLENGE:
Dark and outdated kitchen
Solution:
To help open up the space, the soffits were removed to allow an uninterrupted sight-line. New pendant lighting over the island was added and a soft, natural stone backsplash was added to bring in some color and soften the clean lines of the new cabinetry. The wood floors were refinished to allow for a lighter feel. The layout for the built-in etagere was kept, but to better maximize the space, a full counter top was added to allow the client to serve food at large gatherings.

“Jennifer designed my kitchen. She was very professional and very easy to work with. She listened to my wishes and needs and kept my project costs to my budget. She met the deadlines and went over and above to make sure everything came together with our style in mind. She worked closely with the contractor and checked to make sure each special detail was finished correctly. I would highly recommend Jennifer for anyone who needs a designer. In fact, I plan to hire her again for our next project! She is a gem!”
